I realy dont want to post to much of my work on here, mainly because most of the spriters on here's skill far surpass my own. So ill probably only put up customs or anything that took any real time to make.
To begin, a sprite I just finished after seeing Mugen Masters amazing SLSW sprites.
HIGHLY referenced his SLSW Goku, and dont take any realy credit in making the sprite.

Okay. Don't sell yourself short bro! I wouldn't have invited you here if I felt like you didn't already have skills or couldn't improve.(not trying to say I'm amazing-just saying...) This site, in fact, is for the continuation of spriters. So we want you to post your works be it bad, good, or possibly decent but could become better. So, saying you won't post much- please don't say that. It is wanted from MugenMaster and all of us that you keep psoting and commenting on others' works so that both you, and everyone else on the site can improve. Customs...yes! But don't be discouraged to post your works- keep posting them- become better- help others in the process and after.
And on top of that- your sprites aren't bad. As a matter of fact despit it's heavy reliance on Mugen's Goku, it's pretty decent. I would say fix up the hair's shading a bit- try to avoid stray strands as much as possible. And the eye is a bit awkward. Not entirely sure on how the style should do it; Mugen should be able to help you better. Really thats all I can really mention at the moment. It's well done! ^-^ Please continue to show your works and actively post sprites.

Anyway, never, never feel ashamed about your work. We all have those sprites that was keep guarded by a jabberwocky so that no one may see them, but I can guarantee that more than half of the members here started out on sites like this, with the mindset that you have given yourself. I for one did-it was with animations, but they where crap and I'm not afraid to admit that-and so did Haku, and Sharingan, and possibly even our very own RetroMafioso. Everyone's gotta start small-but eventually, you'll grow big.
But now on to your sprite: It's actually very, very good dude! It's even better than the Vegeta I made to try and impress the-devils-corpse into letting me continue this style. You seem to have the key aspects down-pat: four main colors, shade from the right to the left, and darken the hairline. But there are only two errors I did find:
1.) The eyebrow -- It's a little too long. You can remove the extra two pixels on the end-it really helps~
2.) The hair -- There are a few aspects that make up the hair: -you only used three hair colors, instead of the four used for the style -you tried to define the spikes at the back of the head, but that is unneeded. Actually, that's it. Otherwise it's fine. If you improve this style, I may want to ask you to join me...hmmm...
I honestly dontknow anything about Shadeing. If youve seen my deviant art (Which you have) youd know how little I shade. And yeah I couldnt get the eyes right.

The one with the beanie needs more detail to make him seem more like the actual character. Possibly you can edit the outline to make him look skinnier as well, sinbce he definitely is not buff xD (Are these base-edits? or are they customs?)
Don't stop working on it. If you never follow through with your works- you'll never know in the future what to do to fic it. I say you should recontinue, and once it's done post it and we will tell you what to fix! ^-^
I HATE "evil" characters with a BURNING PASSION. Why do people think changing a pallet to red or black makes them evil? BUU WAS FRIGGING PINK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
I just thought Evil Luffy would be BLue casue its kinda the oppisite ofRed which Luffy (At least that sprites Luffy) is wearing. I realy didntt put a whole lot of thought into the sprite honestly : P.
