I'd suggest referencing some of Yugi's hands, his seem to be more elaborately 'palm-spread' than most others.

Hope you don't mind. I wanted to see if I could edit it up a bit, just to give a little bit of a push, maybe? I don't know xD, but anyways I edited a few spots that I noticed. Don't think i did any better but it may lead you to some kind of epiphany xD

I've looked at his hands but they are mainly karate chops and what have you the closest hand he has to a tossing up hand would be his B forward but it's not showing the palm -_-
I tried to just take a hand from a Slam Dunk character and then modify it(the first one) then modify it again ( the second one ) then one from scratch ( this one ).

RM everything you did was better other than your hat. Red has a squarish hat not a circular one! XD so I threw your shit onto my shit and this is what we got....I rather like it. comments?

I personally like RM's lighter pallet, which makes it seem softer.

I didn't change the pallete. xD I mainly changed the lightsource and shading.

Spriting is funny, isn't it. One little change and boom a whole other feel.

Hows this? I tried to keep the hat square by adjusting a point in the highlight. Also I noticed the legs were tad skinny.

We dunno which pokemon he's going to have other than Pikachu. I will not have this character without Pikachu. So you can try out Pikachu if you wanna.
