well I try to edit goku's super sayian stance into his stance from attack of the sayians. There are alot flaws that I don't know, so if you can point them out for me, I will edit as soon as possible.

The arm muscles are the largest problems I can see, myself.

Otherwise it isn't bad.

His head seems too pasted to his body to me, not sure what others think of it
Other than that, it ain't too bad
BTW is it an edit, I'm not quite sure (except for the head ofc)
I think it is, but just to make sure tongue

The hands and left boot are customs, the rest I edited. So what do you think I should do for the head Haku?

I'd say move it up a pixel or 2 and give him a neck. Other than that just move it around a bit till it looks natural.

Is it the shade that is throwing you off?

No, it's those dark lines that define the muscles.(although the shading is throwing me off a bit)

I'd actually also move it 1 pixel or so to the right, just to see what it would give :D

Too bad
Ain't saying editing is bad, but you do it a lot.
I understand that it's easier for something like this, but you should actually really try to to some custom stuff biggrin

You wont improve you skills by just editing, trust me, and the hands and feet don't play a major role in the revealing your skill.

But it's actually pretty logic for this to be an edit
Since it's an alternate stance for the original sheet, it has to resemble it, and the best way to do so is by editing
Though I'm fully on your side about the fact it wouldn't hurt to try some scratch work
But as long as you enjoy it it's good biggrin

Ok, your right though I wont improve faster if I know how to make customs in the JUS style, but I need a guide to start me off, so I can get comfortable with it.

I advise that you take what you've learned from making edits and apply it to a custom. You only need to start with a rough outline, then clean it up as you go along and get a better idea of what the finished product will look like. I think RetroMafioso posted a tutorial that may help you with that.

You don't need tuts, srsly
I used to search for tutorials in the beginning too, but I always ended up ignoring some steps, or some things that didn't work out
Spriting customs is like being in a huge room, with the lights out, and only one switch
Finding the switch will be difficult, but once you find it, you can see again biggrin

No you don't. All you need to do is analyse JUS sprites to be able to understand how the style is shaded, how wide and high that the sprites are, that sort of stuff. You need to make an effort to do so of course.

Yea, I did create a custom sprite before 95% custom just the head is not custom. I'll try to make more so I can improve.
