| Hm... Think you could animate it? I can't really do it myself, since I still don't have my laptop back. Once I see it animated I might be able to give you some advice.

| How can you post something you sprited to be animate, if you haven't even seen the animation of it? First of all the sprite itself The shading on his pants is quite good, but the shading on his shirt could use some more work His feet look weird, as well the proportion, as the perspective, as the shading, I hope you do realise that But I do like the hair Now for the animation, it isn't that good, as you can see. The hair doesn't need more animation, or maybe just a little bit more But no-one moves that way, seriously Spriting frames can be difficult, but if you do it, keep in mind that it should look natural

So your instead of trying to move everything in goten's hair I should try only moving one pixel for each end, cause I understand the that short doesn't move that much (example vegeta's hair barely moves in Jus) and i'll fix the shading, that's won't be so hard, until i find the light source. And i don't know where or how to animate my sprite even time i try in gimp it messes up, and i get mad after. Thanks for your help by the way

| Pretty much what Haku said but hair doesn`t need to move ALL the time,but Goten is stiff in the frames,his boots seem pretty stationary which is weird IMO and also the way he moves is pretty awkward as well.

Hey can you give a software that i can animate sprites with? Ok I am trying on the hair by moving one pixel upwards for each end of goten's hair. and the stance mhm, i'll try to change it, but i need to know what parts i should change. the reason why his feet are like that is because he is in the air/Flight mode

| I personally would not worry about animations at the moment dude. Try and get the hang of single-framed stances first, and then go back later to animate them. Otherwise the hair looks fine from what i saw, probably could use another frame though.

| Quote Hey can you give a software that i can animate sprites with? Microsoft GIF animator,but you have to make changes with it. Once you installed it put this. Set the Import Dither Method to solid, and Import Color Pallete to Optimal.

Ok i edited the hair, to make it move smoothly, back then forward. So is it good ? I cannot control the speed in gimp for some reason i'm sorry if goten is moving to fast. If you can, you can animate it and re post it here in a slower speed. I need the criticism please comment

The animation isn't good. The arms are moving too fast, the feet have no movement, and the animation is too fast anyway.

| ok, i am going to try to slow down the animation, but i'll try to edit the feet later, then i could work more on how the feet should move because he is in the air. thanks for criticism though, i am starting to the mistakes now. Thanks

| The feet shouldn't move at all, they are stationary.
But I think you are animating it wrong, which is why it seems so odd.
Try doing it like this:
1->2->3->4->3->2
(Those are the sprite frames btw)

| The animation is to stiff. When doing a idle you have to imagine yourself doing it in real life. Do you honestly believe it's possible to move up and down without your foot moving an inch? also the animation is to fast.... It looks like you did it at like 7-8 fps change it to like 12. Also think in real life for the hair movement, if you were bouncing up and down would your hair move side to side or would it also bounce? Also his whole body is moving up and down but his shoulder are staying the same.
