| 1.) PG-13 -- I want this site to be a happy community. We ARE going to have under-aged and young members, so the following are BANNED from being posted on the site:
-Mild-Major Suggestive Themes-Member is warned and material is removed. 2-Day ban for repeat offenders.
-Pornographic Images, Hentai, Videos, and more-all banned, and poster will get a permanent expulsion from the site.
-Illegal Topics, Conversation, and Transactions are PROHIBITED. Member will be permanently banned, and the AUTHORITIES will be contacted.
-Excessive Cursing/Missuse of language-No one wants to hear your colorful vocabulary-at least not to a high extent. Issues a warning and 2-Day ban for repeat offenders.
2.) General Online Trouble-starting. This includes, but is NOT limited to:
Flaming -- Sparking an argument or offending another member is NOT permitted and will result from a warning to a ban if needed. Remember-the FLAMER is the one who REALLY started it.
Flooding -- Constantly posting waves of useless, pointless posts is FLOODING. Member will be banned from 3-5 days. Repeaters will be Perma-banned.
Spamming -- Spamming is the act of posting a completely off-topic post, and will grant you a warning. Ban MAY occur for repeat offenders.
Trolling -- Trolling the excessive act of breaking rules, spamming, flooding, and annoying members and staff. Trolls will be banned on the spot for a week, and then perma-banned if it persists.
3.) Abusive/aggressive behavior is NOT tolerated. If an account of harassment, Cyber-Bullying, or Racist/Religious/Sexist etc. remarks are to be reported to the staff, we will discuss punishment and we WILL rain it down upon you.
4.) ONLY ADVERTISE IN THE ADVERTISEMENT SECTION, AND ONLY ONE TIME.
5.) English-Speaking site: Is what this is. If you cannot speak English or are forced to use a translator, than this site is not for you and you should go find another site. NOW, Punishment will NOT be given, and you do not have to speak PERFECT English, just LEGIBLE English.
6.) This is more of a pointer than a rule, but please remember that this is PIXEL Generation. I'm sure that your drawing or painting or whatever is cool and all, but it does not belong on this site. I will not be adding a General Art section, because this site was intended for Pixel Art and Pixel-Art based content ONLY.
7.) Only ONE gallery per member!
8.) Leeching is prohibited. "Leeching" is the act of stealing someone else's pixel work to claim as your own. ONLY POST IT IF YOU HAVE MADE IT, OR AT LEAST HAVE DONE ABOUT 50% OF EDITS TO IT. Many people leach without knowing it, so here's the guidelines:
1.) RECOLORS -- THESE ARE LEECHES. You have not done anything with the sprites besides swap the pallet. I see this done on FAN CHARACTERS the most, where they make sonic green or something and assume that it is "original".
2.) LESS THAN 50% EDITS(NOTE: There is no such thing as "90% Original" or "Kind of Original" if it is NOT custom, it is either and edit or a Recolor. Period.) -- This is something I see around with newbies to the pixel world. Copy-pasting a head on a sprite, or swapping out the gloves, or recoloring attacks to fit other sprites are NOT allowed on this forum. We encourage you to be the spriter YOU want to be-if edits are what you prefer, then more power to ya. But, if you have NOT edited HEAVILY anymore than TWO parts of a sprite, it is a less than 50% edit and is, indeed, and big ol' leech.
Offenders will be warned and then banned if needed, but there are exceptions to this rule: Add-ons and Revamps.
9.) Criticism is given here-if you believe your work is perfect and cannot have any flaws then DO NOT POST IT. We do NOT encourage cutting slack for newbies, since it does not help them, but not whining just because someone said your leg looks funny.
10.) CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY, unless specified by the poster. I do not want to see raging on people's work just because you don't like or you think it looks horrible-no one is a lost cause.
11.) You may NOT judge a contest or tournament if you are participating in it.
12.) THE STAFF LISTENS TO YOUR PROBLEMS-Tell them, we cannot help if we don't know.
13.) Your personal life<Everyone else on this site. Please, no one cares if your Girlfriend just got mad at you or you had a fight with your dad or something. It sucks for you, boo-hoo, but posting it here seems very desperate and really, not many people care-Me included. Exceptions are reasons that force you to leave, NOT things like break-ups or tantrums.
14.) You may not be/have one of the ... of the month anymore than TWO months in a row, and in no more than TWO categories.
