| Another venture into the world of larger pixel art. I experimented with several ways of doing the fur, but I'm still not happy with it. Let me know what you think of it so far, and hopefully I can get some advice to make it look better.

| Wow... you've surprised me! Not only did you make your large pixel art look decent... You also made a wolf.

Your light source is great, but the shading is a bit too light, so do you mind toning that down a bit darker for me? Your outlines aren't so bad. My only problem with it though is that it isn't a sprite and it's large art, but it doesn't look so cartoony either, so you're either going to have to make it look more cartoony or you're just going to have to remove the black outlines. Your choice. Bear in mind, all my criticism is going toward the grey wolf, but I'll get to the rest later. The wolfs face is hilarious because of the mouths outlines looking so jaggedy. Why doesn't the wolf have any toes or nostrils? You've still got more to work on that grey wolf but I can see that you've made a great attempt, and I wish you good luck with finishing that.

| I personally think the contrast could be cranked up a little, but that's just a opinion And as Sim said, I'd remove the black outlines, or partially remove them Also, the tummy of the gray one seems a little odd... Try to add the furry shading style to the transition of leg to paw (where the colour suddenly changes), though I'm pretty sure you were going to do that It's very nice though, and it's something I didn't quite expect from you!! But that's good, be unexpected

| Thanks guys. Yeah it isn't something like I'd usually do, definitely out of my comfort zone, but I really wanted to do it. Always liked wolves and I have a small statue in my room that I used as a reference for this. So yeah I do still need to fill in details, like paws and shading on his lower legs. Then I haven't done anything yet with the other wolf and cubs, but hopefully those will come out alright. I'll tweak the palette, see if I can make it a bit better. Also sim, I was planning on changing the outlines once I'm finished with shading and all that, so yeah.
I've been a lot more interested in large art lately, mainly because there's a lot of things I'd like to make that can't really be done in small styles.

| Damn...that's awesome xD
Although most of everything has already been said, the only other thing bugging me are the gigantic clumps of fur on the gray hound's side.

Quote (MugenMaster) only other thing bugging me are the gigantic clumps of fur on the gray hound's side. Yeah, I was debating whether to keep those or not... I thought it added more detail, but it was kinda bugging me at the same time.
