| Started working on this last night. I was hoping to get it done in time for Halloween, but I realized I have no idea how to do a lot of the textures. I was hoping maybe Sim could give me some pointers, since bigger Pixel Art like this is more his area of expertise. Let me know what you think so far.

My only pet peeves about this is the fact that the Scythe is not being held by mister reaper, and that the moon...doesn't look like a moon xD

Yeah I was gonna put a hand sticking out holding it. Just haven't done that yet. I'm also hoping to make the moon more...moonish. Also haven't done that yet.

Yeah, I put them like this to make it easier for me to distinguish between the different parts. Once it's done it'll be a simple matter to change the palette.

| Based on the theme you're going for, the shading of everything should be pale and try to gradually fade the background the further it goes if you know what I'm saying. Soothen out the outlines. Shading the character to look like he is actually in background is a must! You don't want it to look like it's a copy and pasted charater. For the grass, look at tutorials for that, especially in my tutorial thread at PK. Make the tree thinner and also give it some detail. Tutoials can help you with that too. Oh, and don't outline anything unless you're overlapping. I don't expect you to nail this one because large art isn't easy and you haven't been doing it long enough, but everybody has got to start from somewhere.
