Sorry but I'm rly not familiar with this system

What kind of system do you have?? And I think 6th graders would be about 11 or so.. not positive.

Urm, let's say
from age 3 till 6 approx. you go to kindergarten
from 6 to 12 it's in elementary school
then, from 12 till 18 you go into secondary school (I'll just call it that)
And after that, you can go to work, or you go to university or high school (high school literally translated from Dutch)
No college for me sad

ours is a bit different.
6/7 - 10/11 elementary school
"secondary school" has 3 possible options:
11/12 - 15/16 is the lowest grade called "Hauptschule" (you hardly get a job with it)
11/12 - 16/17 is the middle grade called "Realschule" (you have to be pretty good to get an acceptable job)
11/12 - 19/20 is the highest graduation called "Gymnasium" once you finish it succesfull you gain the "Abitur" which is necessary to enter a university.
20/21 - 28/29 thats the age most ppl are from the ones who are going to university. normally your "master" education at university takes only 5 years but for some jobs you have to make some work practice first (1-3 years)

You can throw food on me, you can pour drinks on me, you can even spit on me, i'll just laugh that stuff off. But good reason or not, nobody hurts a friend of mine!! ~ Shanks

Well, we also have 3 systems
you have the General secondary school, with only that grade you won't be able to get a decent job, but its the best education to study further
You have the technical secondary school, and with that, you can go work, or go to high school or something to study further. This grade is for jobs like electrician, nurse,...
And as last, you have the professional secondary school, but professional in the meaning of job. I'm not quite sure if you can study further with such a grade...
To choose from the first till the last, it depends on how good you can study. The first is all theoretical, while the two other are more practical.
