Shopping for a laptop

so im looking for a laptop.
Basically what i want the laptop to do is to be able to run Graphics gale or atleast mspaint,run some games and to use things like Stencyl,Game maker or construct.
Any brands i should avoid or get.
also can i use a mouse on a laptop,i heard you can just connect it without any problem.

Well I have a Sony Vaio and I love it. And yes, you can use a mouse with no problems. Just make sure you have a USB mouse, and I'd recommend wireless.

Just some indie games,nothing big like portal or call of duty.
Just games like meatboy,cave story,tobes vertical adventure etc.

If you just want to play those games then nearly any computer will do.
